The Inter House Debate Competition 2023-24 was organised on September 16, 2023. Debaters from across the Middle and Senior School from the four houses engaged in a spirited exchange of ideas and views. The debate was judged by Ms. Toral Shah, Founder of Drishya, Ms. Sinduri Ammanabolu, Editor-in-Chief of Hashtag India magazine, and Ms. Priya Rajiv, an etiquette and leadership coach. The debate was conducted in two categories, junior (classes 6 to 8) and senior (classes 9 to 12). Vijayanagar secured first place in the junior category and Taxila won in the senior category. Vijayanagar will be taking this year’s coveted Debates Shield. Akarshana of the Vijayanagar House was adjudged the Best Speaker in the junior category and Aryaveer Gupta of the Taxila House was adjudged the Best Speaker in the senior category. The debate was moderated by the Head Boy and experienced debater, Amaan Ali Khan.
