Vintage Car Show
In commemoration of our school’s centenary anniversary, an unforgettable vintage car show and a thrilling supercar showcase took centre stage on the 25th and 26th, respectively. These events, organized in collaboration with the Heritage Car Club of Andhra Pradesh and Race Kraft, left an indelible mark on Hyderabad, showcasing a mesmerizing array of classic and high-performance automobiles.
Vintage Car Show:
The vintage car show, held on the 25th, witnessed a grand celebration of automotive history. In collaboration with the esteemed Heritage Car Club of AP, the school orchestrated the largest vintage car event in Hyderabad, featuring over 80 remarkable cars. The event was inaugurated by the distinguished Capt. Kayarmin Pestonji, who, along with our esteemed president Mr. Gusti Noria, added a touch of elegance by driving their own vintage cars.
Capt. Pestonji showcased some exceptionally rare cars, including the two Dodges once owned by the last Nizam of Hyderabad, adding a touch of regal history to the event. The show also boasted an impressive turnout of Austin cars, coincidentally celebrating their centenary alongside our school.
The highlight of the day was the felicitation of Capt. Kayarmin Pestonji by Mr. Gusti Noria, acknowledging their significant contribution to the event. The vintage car show not only celebrated the rich history of automobiles but also paid homage to the enduring legacy of our school over the past hundred years.
Supercar Showcase:
On the following day, the 26th, the school, in collaboration with Race Kraft, played host to a supercar show that set pulses racing. The event featured an impressive line-up of exotic cars, including the Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Huracan, and the Audi R8, among others.
As the powerful engines roared to life, the school grounds echoed with the enthusiastic cheers of students who couldn’t get enough of the breath-taking display. The kids, filled with awe and excitement, cheered for encores, making the event a memorable experience for both participants and spectators alike.
The juxtaposition of vintage charm and cutting-edge technology over the two days made the centenary celebrations truly special, showcasing not only a century of educational excellence but also a passion for automotive history and innovation.
