“Brown day” and “Red day”

The ability to identify colours is considered a marker and milestone in a child’s cognitive progress and is a part of early screening for development and educational admittance. With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce colours a day dedicated to brown and red was marked by PP2 and PP1 respectively on July 2, 2019.

Children and teachers were dressed in hues and tints of brown and red. Focusing on the theme, the soft boards and bulletin boards were enhanced with all things and animals related to the colour brown and red. A special assembly was conducted with children singing songs related to the colour. Children were engaged in art and craft, exercising they motor skills and creativity.

You could see children sparkling with enlightment and happiness, a day well spent with fun and learning.
