The Geography Dept at HPS Begumpet operates on achieving excellence by accuracy. Our aims to to help the students develop an understanding of basic concepts, principles & theories relating to geographical phenomena; to develop the power of thinking, reasoning, imagination; and to love the nation & cultivate a cosmopolitan & international outlook.
Geography
The department of Geography consists of four faculty members. The department aims to acquaint the pupils with the physical & social environment & broaden their outlook. To develop an understanding of basic concepts, principles & theories relating to geographical phenomena. To develop the power of thinking, reasoning, imagination. To love the nation & have a cosmopolitan & international outlook. To develop skills such as map reading, drawing, scientific attitude & ability to draw conclusions & independent thinking.
