On September 1st, 2018, 32 students of Class 11 made their way to Green Special School in Mehdipatnam. ‘Madad’ is an initiative started by Zubair Atha of Class 11A to develop and nurture empathy among students. The purpose of this visit was to create a bond with the differently abled children, following the motto of self-realization. After a brief interaction with Mrs. Azra, the Principal, we learnt that the school follows a special syllabus called Individual Educational Plan (IEP). This Plan helps to develop self-help skills, life skills and social skills. A pre-vocational and vocational course train them to help earn a livelihood.
