Local Educational Excursion
At HPS, we strongly believe that educational excursions are gateway to experiential learning. The local educational excursion for the primary wing was organized on 3rd January 2019.The students of classes 1and 2 were taken to the movie, The Grinch & class 4 to Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse. The students of class 3 had a day with the wild animals during their visit the zoo while the students of class 5 headed to the Active Farm School, Chevella where they had hands-on experience in various steps of farming from sowing to harvesting.
The local educational excursions for classes 6 to 11 was organized on 5th January. The students of class 6 visited Kandlakoya Oxygen Park to understand the importance of urban lung space. A visit to “Dolphin Food India Limited” by students of class 7, gave insight into manufacturing process of hard candies & Jellies. The second half of class 7 educational trip was organized in Mahaveer Haritha Vanasthalipuram National Park. The students of class 8 visited Purani Haveli to understand cultural heritage of Hyderabad city, which also houses Nizam’s Museum. The students of class 9 visited Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages unit at Miyapur to witness industrial technology involved in bottling of carbonated beverages. To prepare students to face increasingly competitive global environment, class 11 students were taken to Indian school of Business, a premier institution to learn nuances of entrepreneurship.
