Physical Education
“Playing sports builds character & leadership skills and encourages analytical and strategic thinking. Children get active and develop healthy personalities.”
Sports can be defined as exercise or physical activities with an objective and definitive aim. Sports, when played, helps release tension, improves sleep patterns and stabilizes levels of anxiety.
Keeping the above objectives in mind, HPS Begumpet offers the following games and sports. Students are categorized into four houses – Nagarjuna, Nalanda, Taxila and Vijayanagar. Professional coaches are on board to train students in sports of their choice throughout the year. Our students enthusiastically take part in tournaments conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), All India Public School (IPSC) tournaments, School Games Federation of India (SGFI), and tournaments on invitation.
