Children are fascinated by a car, bus, engine, ship or airplane at some point of time in their early childhood. This toy is a part of their childhood phase.
The students of PP1 celebrated transport day on 5th of August, 2020. They started the day with rhymes “The wheels on the bus”, “Floating down the river”. Transport system or modes of transport is one topic that comes naturally to children. They learnt more than just the names of the vehicles. They learnt to express the actions related to various modes of transport, which in turn helps build their vocabulary. They participated in an activity which showcased all the three modes of transport – Land, water and air just by using simple things like cotton and sand which were available at home. School was more fun by the end of the day.
