The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, achieved outstanding recognition at the Diplomathon World Symposium held on August 24th and 25th. Among 24 participating schools and approximately 450 delegates, our school was honored with the “Best School Wide” Delegation accolade. This remarkable achievement reflects the exceptional performance of our delegates across 15 diverse committees, including BRICS, SDG3, UNSC, and others, each with 30 delegates and supported by an experienced Executive Board.
The symposium, which began with initial preparations in May 2024, showcased a series of engaging debates, insightful discussions, and innovative solutions from students spanning Grades 3 to 12. This inclusive environment demonstrated that students from various educational backgrounds could contribute meaningfully to diplomatic simulations. Delegates developed essential skills in negotiation, critical thinking, and collaboration, which will serve them well beyond this event.
In conclusion, the success of the symposium is a testament to the collective effort of our school community.
