India is a land of festivals. Each festival has special significance to it, some welcome the seasons of the year, the harvest, the rain, or the full moon. Others celebrate religious occasions, the birthdays of divine beings and saints, or the advent of the New Year.

Class II had organised their Annual Fancy Dress Event on 29th of August, 2020. The theme was Festivals of India.

There was an incredible glimpse of our colourful, vibrant festivals on display. The event was a special experience as it was the first virtual fancy dress conducted and there was complete participation from the eight sections. Participants found joy in coming together and celebrating the different festivals of India. The very essence of India’s unity in diversity was seen in the event.
