YELLOW DAY & ORANGE DAY- Truly pulsating colour day celebrations in the Foundational Years Section
‘Colours are the smiles of nature’…..so are the colours -yellow & orange.
Yellow is often associated with sunshine, happiness, and optimism. It is a colour that symbolizes positivity, enlightenment and intellect. Orange is the colour of joy, warmth, sunshine, enthusiasm & creativity. Orange is associated with fun, dynamism and radiates warmth. It stimulates activity, appetite and encourages socialization. So, having colour themed days is a great way to introduce & reinforce the colours to the young children.
Dressed in adorable and sweet shades of yellow and orange, our delighted FY-PP1 & PP2 tiny-tots embraced the spirit of the occasion by participating in yellow & orange themed hands-on activities like art and craft,etc, The soft boards and the corridor was decorated with vibrant art and craft-work highlighting the essence of yellow & orange. They were encouraged to bring yellow & orange-coloured snacks adding a fun and festive touch to the celebration. It was an amazing learning experience and whether through personal expression, creative endeavours, acts of kindness or by embracing the beauty of nature, let the yellow and orange colour day be a reminder to embrace the sunshine within and share it with the world.
