The Hyderabad Public School Begumpet held its second online farewell to
Ms Jhansi Lakshmi Shekar who joined the HPS BEGUMPET family in the year 2003. She was the Head Of the Commerce Department for the past five years.
During her teaching span of 17 years, she held various responsibilities. She was in charge of the smooth conduct of morning assembly in the senior school for 2 years, worked in the exam department and was House mistress of Nagarjuna House when the house won the first place. The farewell started at 2 pm with Speeches by the Registrar, the Vice-Principal and the Principal, followed by a video where the teachers of the Commerce Department and students of Grade 12 shared their experience with Ms. Jhansi .
An Insulin sapling was presented to her by the principal followed by a melodious song by Ms Kalpana Kannan in Malayalam.
The farewell ended with Ms. Jhansi ‘s speech and a presentation of the memento by the Principal.
