Continuing with the theme of Festivals of India, the children of Class 3 focused on enlightening each other about the importance of being eco-friendly.
Friday 21st August, 2020, saw the students thoroughly enjoying the presentation of various eco-friendly Ganesh idols.
Children, under the guidance of their parents used items like turmeric, all purpose flour, wheat flour, rice flour, rangoli, clay, paper and leaves to make beautiful sculptures of their beloved Lord Ganesha.
They even used various pulses, sugar, pepper and other pantry essentials to decorate the idols.
The entire session was an attempt in bringing about an awareness of the need to be eco-friendly. Children learned that tradition can be followed but at the same time to avoid pollution ,conserve and safeguard Mother Nature.
