FESTIVALS OF INDIA – SANKRANTHI- CLASS 3
CLASS III continued with the Festival Saga and had a special day on 12 January, 2021.
We celebrated the Sankranti festival in our Virtual Classrooms. Children were dressed in festive attire and shared pictures of their specially decorated homes. The brightly colored kites and rangoli brought this vibrant festival into our Virtual Classrooms.
Students made slides and prepared presentations describing this widely celebrated festival. They also spoke about Sankranti and its other counterparts in the rest of the country. The significance of using the bonfire while celebrating Lohri was enlightening and fun.
It was really a remarkable day for the students and teachers of Class 3 before the children could sink into the real celebrations with the oncoming holiday season.
