On 19th June 2024, our Foundational Year School was awash with vibrant hues of pink and red as we celebrated Pink and Red Day. This special event is designed to help our young learners in their early identification of colors, fostering a cognitive link between visual clues and words—a crucial step in their developmental journey.
The day was filled with various engaging activities that captured the children’s imaginations and highlighted the beauty and importance of these colors. The excitement was palpable as the children dressed in pink and red attire, created a colorful and festive atmosphere.
One of the highlights of the day was a delightful musical presentation that creatively incorporated the theme of colors. Through song and dance, the children joyfully explored the world of pink and red, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of these colors in a fun and interactive way.
To top off the celebration, the children enjoyed delicious cupcakes, which added a sweet touch to the day’s festivities. These treats not only delighted their taste buds but also provided an opportunity for them to see and discuss the colors they had been learning about.
