‘Blue is the ocean; Blue is the sky; Purple is royal; Purple is magical’
Colours always fascinate us. It enlivens our environment and is an integral part of our life. The colour blue represents both the sky and the sea and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith and intelligence.
The colour purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power and ambition. Purple also represents wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur.
Dressed in adorable and sweet shades of blue and purple, our delighted FY-PP1 & PP2 kids embraced the spirit of the Blue Day and Purple Day. They enjoyed the theme based hands-on activities. Their art and craft was displayed on the soft boards. The corridor was decorated with appealing craftwork highlighting the essence of blue and purple colours.
The tiny tots showcased their creativity through the blue sky and ocean and bright flowers made with purple colour. The students demonstrated a keen understanding of colour theory, creativity and self-expression. The event was an endeavour to reinforce cognitive development, fine motor skills and language abilities in the young students through this carefully designed learning capsule.
