‘Recycle today for a better tomorrow’
Recycling is reincarnation for rubbish. Recycling helps showcase our artistic and creative talent. It encourages Creativity, Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility.
At the Hyderabad Public School, we believe in fostering creativity and inculcating environmental awareness among our students. Activities like Best out of Waste and Diya Decoration aim to encourage students to think out of the box, reuse and recycle, create something valuable from discarded materials and foster creative thinking in children.
Our FY PP1students and teachers have been exploring the concept of ‘Best Out of Waste’ through various engaging activities. Our little artists have been busy transforming discarded materials into amazing crafts. They created jute bags, plastic bottle planters, paper bag puppets- to name a few. With the help of their excellent imagination and creative skills, they managed to transform waste into something valuable.
‘Sparkling Diyas, Shining Smiles!’ It was an attempt to kindle creativity and cultural awareness in the tender impressionable minds of our youngest eagles.
As we approached the festive season, Diya Decoration activity was organised for the FY students. Embarking on a creative journey, the PP2 students decorated diyas and spread joy. Our little artists explored their creativity, transforming plain diyas into stunning masterpieces by using colourful paints and patterns, glittering stickers and stones, intricate designs and textures and much more.
Through this activity, children learned about recycling and reuse, environmental responsibility, creative thinking, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
