Story Telling Session at The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet
On 23rd April, 2025 the Scholastic group conducted the distinct pleasure of hosting an engaging storytelling session for Grade 1 & 2 of Foundational Years, transforming the space into a realm of imagination, curiosity, and narrative wonder.
On 24th April, 2025 the session was conducted for PP2 students which commenced with a warm welcome extended to the visiting storytellers, whose spirited presence and dynamic narration captivated the young audience from the outset. With animated expressions,interactive storytelling techniques, and a seamless blend of voice modulation and body language, the presenters skillfully brought the stories to life. The selection of tales were imbued with valuable life lessons, humour, and cultural richness. They were carefully curated to resonate with the cognitive and emotional sensibilities of early learners.
The sessions not only entertaining but also contributed significantly to the development of essential skills among the students. Listening comprehension, vocabulary enrichment, and the ability to follow narrative structures were subtly nurtured through this immersive experience. Moreover, the interactive nature of the storytelling session encouraged active participation, fostering confidence and a love for language among the children.
The joy and excitement evident on the faces of the young learners were a testament to the session’s success. Teachers observed heightened engagement and a rekindled interest in books and storytelling in the days following the event.
