The Graduation Day for the outgoing batch of 2024–25 was held with great pride and grandeur on 13th June, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the iconic Shaheen Hall of The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet. The event marked a significant milestone for the graduating students as they prepared to step into a new chapter of their lives.
The ceremony was graced by acclaimed Indian film director and screenwriter Radhakrishna “Krish” Jagarlamudi as the Chief Guest. Renowned for his contributions to Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil cinema, Mr. Jagarlamudi is a recipient of the prestigious National Film Award and two Filmfare Awards South.
The celebration commenced with the soulful rendition of the School Song, filling the halls of Shaheen with emotion and nostalgia. The Principal, Dr. Skand Bali, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and introduced him to the assembled guests and students. As a mark of the school’s commitment to environmental consciousness, a plant was presented to the Chief Guest.
A highlight of the evening was the distribution of Gold Medals for Academic Excellence and other prizes, presented by Mr. Jagarlamudi. The school choir elevated the mood with their melodious performance, celebrating the spirit of achievement.
Valedictorian Saarthak Lamba delivered a heartfelt address, tracing his journey through the years at HPS. He spoke fondly of his academic and personal growth and expressed deep gratitude to the faculty for their guidance and mentorship.
As a mark of recognition for their hard work and accomplishments, diplomas and commemorative mementoes were presented to all outgoing students, celebrating their dedication and achievements throughout their school years.
A special memento was also presented to the Chief Guest in appreciation of his gracious presence and uplifting message. In his inspiring address, Mr. Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi congratulated the graduating class and urged them to follow their dreams with passion, perseverance, and purpose. Drawing from his own journey in the film industry, he shared valuable insights on creativity, resilience, and staying true to one’s vision.
The event concluded with the National Anthem, bringing the celebrations to a solemn close.
