The Greenathon initiative was enthusiastically embraced at HPS Begumpet, with active participation from all three wings of the school—Preparatory, Middle, and Senior School. As part of this eco-conscious effort, students of Classes 4 and 5 engaged in a range of meaningful, environment-friendly activities. These included planting saplings, delivering inspiring speeches, and participating in a spirited green run.

Their wholehearted involvement reflected a strong commitment to environmental stewardship. Through their actions, the students conveyed a powerful message: Greenathon is not just a campaign for today, but a promise of a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.

As part of the Greenathon initiative, the Middle and Primary School students of HPS Begumpet organized a special assembly centred on the theme of nature and sustainability. The program began with a powerful word capturing the essence of nature, followed by a thoughtful reflection that set the tone for the morning.

A compelling dialogue between two friends captivated the audience, illustrating how young “eaglets” can make a meaningful difference in their surroundings. Their exchange left a lasting impact, motivating fellow students to take ownership of creating a greener campus.

The event continued with a heartfelt pledge, where students promised to work towards building a more sustainable tomorrow. A touching poem, written and recited by a Class 8 student, deeply resonated with the audience. This was followed by a soulful musical performance by another Class 8 student, making the morning truly memorable and inspiring.
