Entrepreneurial Talks
‘Entrepreneurial Talks’ was a session organised by the Cambridge Commerce Department, featuring two guest speakers, Mr. Sandeep Santhosham and Mr. Sai Prasad Vishwanathan, who spoke on the topic ‘Entrepreneurship in Action’. The guest speakers were acclaimed entrepreneurs with track records of successful ventures. Mr. Sandeep Santhosham is the founder and CEO of Digital Nest, a premier edtech company based in Hyderabad, renowned for its flagship Digital Marketing training programs. Mr. Sai Prasad Vishwanathan is the first Asian with a disability to set foot on the Antarctic continent and has been a powerful voice for inclusion. He co-founded a venture called ‘Sahasra’ which provides scholarships to meritorious and financially disadvantaged students, enabling them to pursue higher education and overcome physical, mental, emotional and financial barriers they may face.
Both the speakers brought forward insightful viewpoints, enriching the students’ perspective not only on the entrepreneurial mindset, but also on life. The session was vibrant, with the speakers effectively engaging the students through their interactive discussions. The speakers spoke with clarity and enthusiasm, making the session dynamic and enjoyable for the students. Their real word experiences, personal anecdotes, and advice resonated with the audience, inspiring curiosity and reflection on entrepreneurial gaps in society.
The session was rich with learning, leaving students with a better understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape and how to face obstacles with resilience.
