The Eagles – Pose A Threat To The Best Debating Teams
Public speaking and debating are today an integral part of a well- rounded education system. The Hyderabad Public school has always nurtured such skills in its students in a fashion that helps them have a cutting edge over others of their age.
To ensure that schools and their students are empowered, the Council conducts a series of debating events across ICSE schools of the country.
At the prestigious Frank Anthony All India Debate our ICSE and ISC teams stood out.
The ICSE team comprising Sriveda and Laksh presented compelling arguments with clarity and confidence. They supported each other well and enriched themselves with a great experience of competing with the teams of the best ICSE schools of the city.
The senior ISC team was represented by a carefully curated team of Anushka and Rwishiraj of class 11 who handled ‘not an easy’ topic with great care. Their topic was – ‘AI will widen the gap between privileged and underprivileged students’.
Blending facts with finesse, they presented convincing arguments, demolished their opponents in the rebuttal round and were declared the 1st Runners – up team. They earned for themselves the ticket to the Selection round for the Nationals.
Rwishiraj was declared the BEST SPEAKER at the event….indeed a proud moment for the school.
