Socially useful productive work is considered purposive, meaningful, manual work resulting in goods or services beneficial to society.
At HPS, SUPW forms an integral part of our curriculum to cultivate a positive attitude towards teamwork and socially desirable values like self-reliance, the dignity of labor, tolerance, cooperation, and sympathy.
Various Inter-House competitions are conducted for students to showcase their hidden talent and creativity. This year, the students displayed their skill in origami, apron & face mask stitching, door toran, flower arrangement; recycle products, and lantern making. A poster-making competition on ‘Bicycle is a boon for mother earth,’ was also conducted.
Apart from proving their mettle in academics, our students showed great enthusiasm for participating in the above competitions and striking a healthy balance.
