The monthlong summer camp organised by The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, concluded on 31st May, 2022. The students of Classes I to XII were offered a plethora of activities which included Cricket, Football, Basketball, Skating & Table Tennis.
Ms. Esha Singh, a 17-year-old Junior World Champion in 10m Air Pistol, was the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony and was graced by the Principal, Dr Madhav Deo Saraswat, Vice-Principal, Ms. Amritha Chandra Raju and the Registrar, Col. PLN Sarma. The Chief Guest applauded the efforts of the school in promoting games as an integral part of the curriculum. She urged the students to identify their game of interest and hone their skills in it so that they can reach great heights.
In his address, the principal thanked the staff and students for all of their enthusiasm. He appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to recognise their abilities and aptitudes. He said that he would greatly look forward to some fantastic sporting events this year.
The students who displayed commitment and dedication to learn and improve their performance were awarded mementoes. However, all the 350 students participated enthusiastically in the camp and were excited to be out on the fields, meeting friends, practising yoga, working on their fitness, over and above just being a part of it.
