World Smile Day provides a perfect opportunity to get students smiling, and helps them make other people smile too. Through acts of kindness, watching videos and singing, we celebrated cheeriness and the gift of a smile. The children looked adorable in yellow smiley t-shirts and the teachers dressed in yellow and wore smiley badges.
Each class displayed an array of things that would bring a smile to any child’s face. Topics like ‘family and friends,’ ‘cartoons,’ ‘toys’, ‘eatables,’ ‘helping others smile costs nothing, ‘my pets,’ ‘gifts,’ etc. were colourfully displayed on the bulletin boards.
Overall, it was very successful as there was one important ingredient: a smile! It spreads only happiness around!
