At HPS, students are taught to be mindful of their environment. The importance of keeping the surroundings clean and reducing waste is instilled in them from a very young age. In this endeavor, the Primary School had a Best out of Waste Competition. Students of Class 5 created beautiful pen stands, wall hangings, table organizers and other useful things from discarded objects such as coconut shells, used CDs, pencil shavings and plastic bottles. The children were at their creative best and came up with some ingenious ideas.
