A team of 10 students and 3 teachers visited Kanha Shanti Vanam Ashram on 23rd & 24th March 2019 as a part of International Award for Young People (IAYP) programme. The ashram is located in the outskirts of Hyderabad near Chegur village in Kothur Mandal of RR district .

Students learnt about various skills like organic farming, working of cold pressed edible oil & essential oil extract unit and advanced pottery with digital kiln . Meditation with relaxation technique sessions trained students to be calm during crises. A special session, Brighter Mind level 4 involved students in the kitchen, serving and gardening.
Mrs Jhansi L Shekar, Mrs Uma Maheshwari and Mrs Manisha Sinha assisted students during two days training sessions.
