The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet hosted South Africa JEO team for a friendly match at Basalathjah Stadium in The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet on 9th October 2019.

South African JEO team comprising of 17 members was on a tour to Indian Subcontinent led by Captain Jonathan Oppenheimer. The Hyderabad Public School was the only school team selected for by South African team to play. The school team was captained by Tanay Thyagarajan. Mr.Gusti Noria was the chief guest, the vice president of the HPS Society. Our Principal praised the confidence of our boys for their amazing display of sportsmanship.
