Geo Fest International 2019 was hosted by City Montessori School, Lucknow ( Rajajipuram Campus –II and Jopling Road Campus). Geo Fest 2019 is one such platform where budding young environmentalists and geographers come together to share ideas and create methods to ensure that the race to save our planet would be successful. Ten students from classes 8 to 12 along with one team leader Mrs. Soma Dutta from our school participated for the event between 15th to 19th November 2019. Through a variety of competitions, they acquired the knowledge needed to aid them in this immense task. 77 schools from Nepal, Bangladesh, Russia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and India participated in the several events. The Geo Fest International aims at raising awareness inspire and reward students who are interested in studying their world and its countries and people. It was a very good exposure where students learnt to imbibe and spread the values of protecting nature and thus protecting mankind.
