AFS Slam Poetry
Youngsters have rich thoughts. It is therefore important that they be provided to the space to share their work and interact with other writers as a community. AFS YES alumni organised a slam Poetry competition at Suchitra Academy on 13 November, 2019. The topic for the poetry was ‘Active Global Citizen’. The objective was to spread awareness about PEACE,to celebrate the similarities, difference and breaking stereotypes, to build positive stories and perceptions and to celebrate the art of Poetry. Mansa of class 11 C and the Head Boy, Mihiran, competed with four AFS member schools in the city. Mihiran was adjudged one of the four winners.
