Despite the summer break students turned up in large numbers for the Vamsi Pydipally-Mahesh Babu interaction which took place in front of the brilliantly lit majestic Shaheen. Vamsi is an alumnus of the 1991 Batch. He was emotional and over awed and repeatedly kept commenting on his return to his nest. This eaglet is now a soaring eagle and has done the School proud. The Principal, Vice Principal, Registrar, a few teachers and students from class 1 to class 11 were part of the interaction that took place after a special screening of the film. The interaction went viral on YouTube clocking countless views. The humble Vamsi- Mahesh duo were stunned by the discerning and well thought out questions asked by the students. Mrs. Amrita Chandra’s witty interaction with the duo brought in quite a few laughs. The students take away from this summer interaction was immense. They recognised that however successful one maybe the humility that this duo displayed is an endearing quality that one must imbibe. They understood that success is not a destination but a journey and they are the heroes/heroines of their life’s script. Parents who were the audience took home the difference between progressing and evolving as an interesting landmark in the journey of parenting. The Principal presented the celebrity guests with the School mementos.
