Bagless Day Grade 6 and 7
As per the ICSE Council’s stipulated guidelines of observing 10 Bagless Days in an academic year, our school observed a Bagless Day on 19th & 20th June 2025 for grade 6 & 7. This initiative is designed to:
- Promote joyful and stress-free learning.
- Encourage hands-on experiences
- Reduce the physical burden of school bags.
Class 6 & 7 students at our school experienced a vibrant and engaging Bagless Day, filled with activities designed to promote creativity, physical well-being, and leadership skills. The day began with a warm welcome during the class teacher’s period, followed by energizing sessions of Yoga and Zumba that got everyone moving and refreshed.
Students then took part in a Leadership Program and enjoyed a thought-provoking School Cinema screening of Apples and Oranges, Poem Thief, Vishnu kani and Toppers respectively for grade 6 and 7.
The day continued with hands-on and joyful experiences through various activities such as Art and Craft, Pottery, Drama, Story telling, Fireless Cooking, Sudoku & Mental Math activities offering students a perfect mix of fun, learning, and creativity.
It was truly a day that celebrated learning beyond textbooks — nurturing the heart, mind, and soul of every learner!
