Books & Banter
Our recent event was the Books & Banter, which was held on the 6 th of January, 2025. Students from classes 6 th to 11 th participated in reading a variety of books and poems from the different genre’s literature can offer.
The Books & Banter is created and purposed to give students an opportunity to display their love for reading not only to themselves, but for their parents, and classmates.
The students displayed their talents by reading, and unfolding the thoughts and purpose of the books and poems they read. It was a joy to listen to their simple yet descriptive explanations, of what they thought the book or poem was to them.
We were honored and privileged to have our Vice Principal – Mrs. Amritha Chandra Raju, Our Coordinator – Mrs. Sonali Roy Chowdhury Singh and our very own school teachers – Mrs. Nasreen Fazal Khan, Mr. Abel Thomas and Mr. Priyesh Pal, reading a piece of writing they love and in different languages –Bengali, Urdu and Hindi.
They each gave us the very best of their deep knowledge and understanding of literature, which filled our little minds to think beyond the horizon.
One of the best take away from the Books and Banter event was to see our students read with passion, zeal and more over seed the desire in others to read.
