Cambridge School Responsibility
The Cambridge Curriculum as part of the School Social Responsibility had conducted the Cambridge Carnival earlier in the year. The fete which saw students bringing and selling food saw a collection of over Rs. 40000. The amount collected was split in two ways to donate to two charities. The first charity was at Pawmencap Hyderabad, a center for specially-abled kids. The Second one was Prerna Children’s Home in Balanagar. The children met the owners and were taken on a tour of the premise. They interacted with the children. All in all it was an emotional visit, where the children learned empathy and kindness. The entire process taught them many skills but most importantly, they learnt to look out for the larger community.
