Today, the Hyderabad Public School Begumpet proudly inaugurated the annual CISCE Regional Basketball Tournament for the Andhra and Telangana region. The esteemed Chief Guest for the event was Mr. A Shyam Mohan, the immediate past President of the HPS Society. Dr. Skand Bali, the Principal, Colonel PLN Sarma, the Registrar, and Mr. Srinivas Reddy, the Director of Physical Education, graced the ceremony.

Mr. Shyam Mohan, in his enlightening address, delivered a kind, generous, and inspiring message that resonated deeply with the attending teams. He eloquently extolled the virtues and qualities of a true sportsman while briefly explaining the essence of sportsmanship to the gathered participants.

60 teams have enthusiastically enrolled across three age categories: 23 teams in the under-14 category, 26 in the under-17 category, and 11 in the under-19 category. This event promises to be a showcase of exceptional sportsmanship and spirited competition.
