Decarbonized Asia-Pacific Student Conference

The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet proudly hosted the Decarbonized Asia-Pacific Student Conference on 8th July 2025, a landmark event dedicated to raising awareness and encouraging action towards a sustainable, low-carbon future. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr V.V Lakshminarayana (EX- CBI Officer) whose inspiring address emphasized the vital role of young minds in shaping global climate solutions.

Distinguished guests from IUCN, Centre for Global Education (Canada), WWF INDIA and climate action leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region participated virtually in the conference. The conference witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 21 schools, with over 300 students, teachers, and school principals attending the event.

The student-led projects and exhibitions were remarkable in their innovation and impact, showcasing practical, research-based solutions to environmental challenges. The program was a resounding success, not only in execution but in igniting a shared commitment to a greener, more sustainable future. The collaboration between schools and the active involvement of school leadership played a pivotal role in the event’s success, making it a memorable and transformative experience for all.
