Educis Leadership Program
The Educis Leadership Program for Classes 6-12 took place from September 11th to 13th, 2023, focusing on nurturing students’ leadership skills. The program aimed to equip students with essential leadership qualities and communication skills necessary for personal and academic growth. The sessions were conducted in an interactive and engaging manner, tailored to suit the needs of the respective student groups.
The program consisted of three core sessions:
The first session, “Types of Communication,” emphasized the importance of effective communication in leadership. Students learned about various forms of communication, such as verbal, non-verbal, written, and visual communication. Interactive exercises and group discussions allowed students to grasp the nuances of each communication type.
The second session, “Identifying Your Leadership Style,” helped students explore their leadership potential. Students identified their unique leadership styles and strengths through self-assessment tools and activities. This session encouraged self-awareness and personal
development.
The final session, “Creative Writing and Narrative Style,” encouraged students to enhance their storytelling abilities. Through creative writing exercises and storytelling workshops, students learned how to convey their ideas and visions effectively. This skill is valuable for inspiring and mobilizing others, a crucial aspect of leadership.
All sessions were conducted with an interactive and activity-based approach. This methodology ensured that students actively participated in the learning process. Audiovisual aids, including presentations, videos, and interactive multimedia, were used to make the content engaging and accessible to all participants.
The program was designed to cater to students’ specific needs and understanding levels in grades 6 to 12. Each session was adjusted to ensure that the content was age-appropriate and relevant.
The Educis Leadership Program for Classes 6-12, held from September 11th to 13th, 2023, was a resounding success. Students gained valuable insights into communication, leadership styles, and storytelling, all crucial personal and academic growth skills. The interactive and activity-based approach and tailored content ensured that students were engaged and enthusiastic throughout the program.
