A Farewell was organized for our beloved principal, Dr. Skand Bali on 14th August, 2021 as he reached the end of his term. His gracious lady, Mrs. Shivani Bali, was also present. It was attended by 200 members of the Faculty and Administrative Staff. Our Registrar Col. Sharma and our Vice Principal Mrs. Amritha Chandra Raju, shared some interesting anecdotes about their association with the Principal. The music department came up with a lively performance followed by a fun-filled one-hour capsule by Anusha Rajgopal which included a tête-à-tête with the Principal.
The highlight of the morning was a melodious ghazal rendering by Mrs Shivani Bali.
In his farewell speech, our Principal said that his four years at HPS were a great learning experience and he loved working with the talented staff of HPS. He said that one thing that brought success and put our school in the top five in our country was self-belief and belief in his team. He also urged the staff to believe in themselves and believe that we can achieve wonders and take our institution to greater heights so that it would be in the top five schools of the world in the coming years.
The greatest achievements during his tenure was the starting of the IGCSE curriculum and The Hyderabad Public school becoming the first school in the world to have a Career Counseling Department accredited by the IC3 Institute.
The event ended with the presentation of a memento, the silver salver and a gift from the Teaching and Administrative Staff to our Principal and Mrs. Shivani Bali.
The school wishes Dr. Bali great success in his future endeavours.
