The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, held a momentous Graduation Ceremony for its ISC Class of 2024 on Saturday, 15th June 2024, at the prestigious Shaheen. This event was a significant milestone, marking the successful completion of their years of schooling. The ceremony was graced by a distinguished gathering.

About 88 accomplished Eaglets were honored with their graduation certificates by the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Taapsee Pannu. The Principal, Mr. Skand Bali, the Vice Principal, Mrs. Amritha Chandra Raju, and other dignitaries from academia, as well as the proud parents of the graduates, graced this momentous occasion.

The Graduation ceremony began with the proud students of the ISC Class of 2024 walking down to experience one of the most important days of their lives. A presentation of a sapling to the Chief Guest, followed by the school song led by the school choir and the Principal, Dr. Skand Bali, extending a warm welcome to Ms. Taapsee Pannu, set the tone for the evening.

Following this, a special moment of recognition was dedicated to the students who had excelled in the recent ISC and ISCE Board Exams. These exceptional individuals were awarded Gold Medals and Book Prizes, a testament to their dedication and academic prowess. Their achievements in various spheres of school life, including their hard work, special talents, and leadership, were also acknowledged.

Diplomas along with mementos were presented to every outgoing student as a remembrance of their time in school by the Chief Guest.

The School Choir once again encapsulated Graduation Day’s bittersweet spirit and beauty in the enchanting melody of a powerful collaboration between Alan Walker and Ava Max – “Alone Part 2” with a special twist.

In her valedictorian speech, Kaki Harshitha reminisced about her time in school as a primary student and reflected on how far she has come. Harshitha is the School Topper in the recent ISC board exams. She is the proud recipient of the Cherukuri Suman Gold Medal for Highest Aggregate in 12 ISC, 2024, HPS Gold Medal for Highest Aggregate in Science group, ISC, 2024, Princess Esra Jah Gold Medal for Best Pass in ISC, 2024 – Girl Student, Pokarna Gold Medal for Best Pass in Mathematics, ISC, 2024, and the HPS Gold Medal for Best Pass in Chemistry, ISC, 2024. She has been an outstanding student in all aspects.

In her inspiring address to the students, the Chief Guest, Ms. Taapsee Pannu, congratulated them on their graduation. She rightly pointed out that each one should have a “mind of their own,” which will shape them into unique individuals. Ms. Pannu emphasized that competitiveness, bitterness, and the excess influence of social media are spoilers towards the journey to becoming unique persons.

For the parents, it was a moment filled with immense pride and joy. Seeing their young boys and girls, now graduates, adorned in their graduation gowns, caps, and scrolls, was a sight to behold.

Every end has a new beginning. Today marked a significant milestone. It might be the last day for some of our students at school, but they have also transitioned into the esteemed HPS Alumni. We firmly believe that all their learning at HPS will serve as a guiding light in the challenging journey of life.
