Graduation Day 2019
The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, organized a Graduation Day function for its ISC Class 2019 on Saturday, 15th June 2019 in the Assembly Hall of the Shaheen Block to felicitate its students on completing their 12 years of schooling.
About 60 students received their graduation certificates from the Chief Guest Mr Sudhakar Rao , Director, the ICFAI Group. The Principal Dr. Skand Bali, Vice Principal Mrs Amritha Chandra Raju and other dignitaries from academia as well as parents of the graduates were present on this special occasion.
The Graduation ceremony was followed by the prize distribution function where in students who had excelled in the recent ISC Board Exam were awarded Gold Medals & Book Prizes. Diplomas along with mementoes and year book were presented to every outgoing student as remembrance of their time in school.
The Head Girl, Shilpika, in her speech thanked the school for having given her immense encouragement and having taught her how to balance extra-curricular activities and academics. She stressed on the point that this balancing between essential things like grades and extra- curricular activities was her formula for success.
The Head Boy, Srinivasa, thanked his Alma mater for developing and nurturing him into what he is today. He urged his fellow batch mates to scale new heights with a positive attitude and yet remain the same at heart, to be strong, brave and ready to face the new world.
In his valedictorian speech, Ainesh Sanyal the School Topper, said that every event of the school, every exam, every class and every interaction taught him lessons for life. He also said that he would fondly cherish the priceless memories he had as the music captain of the school and as one of the cast of the play ‘ The Sound of Music’.
The IDL Chemical Outstanding and Outgoing student Gold Medal was awarded to Tarun Sepuri for his excellent all round abilities.
The Chief Guest congratulated the students on their graduation and applauded the school for being an iconic institution. He urged the students to be simple, fair and original and create a brand of one’s self. He advised the students to be ready to mould to diversity in real life as life’s challenges are diverse and that diversity is real. He ended on a note that the world is waiting for achievers like our young eaglets.
It was truly a moment of immense pride and joy for the parents to see their young boys and girls in graduation gowns, caps and scrolls.
