Graduation Day 2021

The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, organized the Graduation Ceremony for its ISC Class of 2021 on Saturday, 31st July 2021 in the School Dining Hall to felicitate its students on completing their 12 years of schooling. The ceremony was conducted amidst an august gathering while following all Covid protocols.

About 113 proud Eaglets received their graduation certificates from the Chief Guest Mr. Premchand Palety, Founder, C-Fore. The Principal Dr. Skand Bali, Vice Principal Mrs. Amrita Chandra Raju and other dignitaries from academia as well as parents of the graduates were present on this special occasion.
The Graduation ceremony began with the school song led by the school choir and was followed by the prize distribution function wherein students who had excelled in the recent ISC Board Exam were awarded Gold Medals & Book Prizes. Diplomas along with mementos were presented to every outgoing student as a remembrance of their time in school by the Chief Guest.

The Head Boy, Udbhav Saxena, in his speech said that You can remove students from HPS but cannot remove HPS from the students”.
In her valedictorian speech, Tanvi Varigala, the school topper, pointed out how people, especially 16-year-old high school students, like to be associated, approved and accepted. She concluded by telling her fellow peers to enjoy every small moment and showed her gratitude to her teachers, mentors, parents and friends.
The IDL Chemical Gold Medal for the Outstanding Outgoing Student was awarded to Pranav Debbad while the Palem Srikanth Reddy Gold Medal for Highest All-Round Achievement went to Ahana Basu.
The Chief Guest congratulated the students on their graduation and applauded the teachers for working hard during the pandemic year. He said that one should have the 4 C’s – Creativity, Critical thinking, Collaboration and Communication and 3 R’s – Relationship between stakeholders, Relevance of what is being learnt and Rigour. He concluded by encouraging the students not to lose the momentum of hard work, self-discovery and willpower.
It was truly a moment of immense pride and joy for the parents to see their young boys and girls in graduation gowns, caps and scrolls.
Every end has a new beginning. Today might be the last day for these students at school but they have now become a part of the prestigious HPS Alumni. We strongly believe that all their learning at HPS will help them sail smoothly even in the most turbulent waters of the world.
