Green Day & Brown Day – Colour day Celebrations in Foundational Years Section ‘Colours are the smiles of nature.’
The objective of celebrating these colour days is to give our students a fun filled way to learn and identify them.
Colours are beautiful and they fill our lives with vibrancy and happiness. To embrace the beauty of colours Green day and Brown day was celebrated on 12 th November, in a novel way, where the children of FY PP1 & PP2 learnt about the importance of the green and brown colour and the positive effect it has on our lives. Attractive charts and drawings were displayed on the boards, depicting the two colours at its best. Children came up with innovative ways of expressing these colours by crafting images of Dinosaurs, water melons, cactus and mother nature. Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green and brown costumes, the little ones created a pleasant, harmonious and refreshing aura. It goes without saying that the active involvement in this colourful activity infused in them vigor, vitality and freshness. The highlight of this celebration were the little commentators who stepped forward with zeal and confidence to deliver short speeches on the significance of green and brown colour.
The shades of green and brown filled the air with freshness, thrill, ecstasy and bliss. It also prompted them to think how colours energize and revitalize our lives.
