Poetry recitation is literary work where ideas and feelings, accentuated with the use of distinctive style is delivered through a public speaking activity with a focus on rhythm, alliteration some repetitions.
The Group Recitation competition was conducted for class II on 27 th February and for class I on 28 th February 2020 at the Amphitheatre. A variety of poems werechosen for the children to recite. The aim of this competition was for them to work together as a team in order to put together a well-coordinated and coherent Group Recitation. The teachers worked with each group of children in order to train them and bring out their best. All the eight sections of classes 1 and 2 exhibited a well- rounded poetry performance. Children showed a great zea, enthusiasm and presented their best. It was a delightful sight to watch children recite elegantly and gracefully.
