We are thrilled to share the success of the culmination event for Helen O’Grady (HOG) classes 1 and 2, held from February 16th to 23rd, 2024. This event marked the conclusion of a year-long journey of learning, growth, and creativity for our young performers.
At Helen O’Grady International, we are committed to fostering the holistic development of children through drama. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique needs of each age group, focusing on activities such as forward placing, voice projections, scene initiation, and encouraging creative thinking. Through these activities, we aim to inspire our students to step outside conventional boundaries in their acting, while also fostering interaction among classmates to create a harmonious and healthy learning environment.
The culmination event showcased the remarkable progress our students have made over the past year. From overcoming stage fear to delivering dialogues with confidence and enthusiasm, every student across classes 1 and 2 performed admirably. While perfection was not the expectation, the joy and excitement radiating from the stage were palpable, as students thoroughly enjoyed performing in the plays “PARADESIA” and “PIRATE JOE.”
We were delighted to witness the enthusiastic support of parents, who applauded the event and expressed their delight in seeing their children shine on stage. Their positive response has sparked anticipation for more drama classes and future plays, highlighting a strong desire to nurture their children’s creative talents and provide them with enriching opportunities in the world of performing arts.
As we celebrate the success of the culmination event, we are reminded of the transformative power of drama in education. We are immensely proud of our students’ growth and achievements, and we look forward to continuing to inspire and empower them on their journey of creativity and self-discovery.
