Hindi Diwas Celebration 2023-24

The Hindi Diwas celebration for the academic year 2023-24 took place with great fervor and enthusiasm on September 14, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. The vibrant event was held in the courtyard of Hyderabad Public School Begumpet, and it was a momentous occasion for the students and staff alike.
The esteemed chief guest for the event was Dr. Rishabhdev Sharma. The festivities commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and the spirit of unity.
Mrs. Amrita Chandra Ji, the School Principal, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the Hindi language and its integral role in preserving our culture and heritage. Dr. Skanda Bali, the school administrator, introduced the esteemed chief guest, Dr. Rishabhdev Sharma.
The event showcased a plethora of performances, notably a compelling play titled ‘Kahin Dhoop Kahin Chaaw,’ skillfully enacted by the talented students of Hyderabad Public School. The play encapsulated the importance of education and emphasized the dire need for adequate sustenance, leaving a lasting emotional impact on the audience. A special highlight of the celebration was the heartwarming poems recited by the young children, captivating the audience and bringing joy to all present.
Adding to the cultural vibrancy of the event were captivating folk dance performances. The Bhangra dance, a lively and energetic amalgamation of dhamaal, fun, and exuberance, showcased the unique use of phulkare, taps, and boliyan. Additionally, the Lavani dance, known for its vibrant hues and lively tunes, was presented with zeal and enthusiasm, portraying seasonal themes and traditional beauty.
The Hindi Diwas celebration reaffirmed the significance of the Hindi language and promoted cultural harmony and understanding amongst the students and the community at large. The event not only celebrated the language but also provided a platform for students to showcase their talent and express the rich cultural heritage of India.
