The Hyderabad Public School Centenary Educator’s Conference: Shaping the Next Century of Education

The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, is geared up to chart a brilliant, unparalleled pedagogical course by hosting the ‘Centenary Educator’s Conference’. This pioneering conclave is set to take place from September 1-3, 2023, at the school’s campus. The 3-day Conference’s express purpose is to provide direction in further developing the Hyderabad Public Schools to become global institutions of educational excellence.

The Conference will mark a century’s passage where educators will conflux. The Educators Conclave is envisioned as a dynamic gathering of educators, thought leaders, and experts from various disciplines within the educational sphere. With a commitment to enhancing teaching methodologies, fostering innovation, and promoting collaborative learning environments, the conclave aims to chart a roadmap for education’s future and teachers’ upskilling.

It will be a confluence of minds and will witness participation by more than 700 educators dedicated to redefining the essence of education. The keynote addresses are followed by eight-panel discussions by eminent persons with expertise in their fields and 20 workshops over three days. The conclave is a step towards achieving the ‘School Vision 2050’, a road map for further developing its four schools over the next three decades.

The conclave will feature keynote addresses from renowned educators and visionaries, sharing their insights on the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the education sector. Attendees can participate in interactive workshops designed to facilitate hands-on learning experiences. These workshops will explore effective classroom strategies, technology integration, and student engagement techniques. Engaging in panel discussions will bring educators, researchers, and policymakers together to discuss critical topics.

The first day will begin with an invocation dance by the students. Mr. Gusti J Noria, The President of H.P.S. Society, and the Principal Dr. Skand Bali will welcome the delegates with a plenary talk followed by a welcome note.

The Guest of Honour, Smt. V. Karuna, I.A.S. Secretary to Government Education Department, Govt of Telangana, Chairperson, H.P.S.- B.O.G. and the Chief Guest will address the August gathering.

The Conference will have three keynote addresses- by Prof. Dr. Anantha Durraiappah, Director, UNESCO – MGIEP, the first UNESCO Category 1 Institute of Education in the Asia Pacific, on the first day, by Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, Founding Vice-Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University, on the second day and by Dr. Pramath Raj Sinha, an entrepreneur, institution-builder, academic, executive, and Philanthropist, who was the Founding Dean of the Indian School of Business (I.S.B.), on the third day.
