Investiture Ceremony 2019

The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet celebrated the Annual Investiture Ceremony on Saturday,29 June, 2019. The Chief Guest was Mr. N V S Reddy, Managing Director, Metro Rail, Hyderabad and Mr. H.L. Dutt, former Principal was the Guest of Honour.

This ceremony was graced by   Mr. A. Shyam Mohan President H.P.S. Society, Mr. Gusti J Noria Vice Chairman BOG, Mr. Faiz Khan Secretary & Treasurer BOG ,Mrs. M. Radha Reddy, Secretary to BOG and other  respected members of the HPS  Society and the Board of Governors.

The Chief Guest inspected the impressive parade led by  The Nishan Toli bearing the School Flag and the flags of the four Colour Houses – Nagarjuna, Nalanda, Taxila, and  Vijayanagar ,  followed  closely by N.C.C. Cadets of the  three wings of the armed forces,  the Army, the Navy, the Air Force. The contingents of ISC and ICSE troops marched smartly to the beats of the 30 member School Brass Band followed by Equestrian troop of 12 riders. The Parade Commander was II/O Mr K Ravi Kumar.

Ms. Isha Gandham, Head Girl Designate, in her speech, urged her peers to aim for the stars and always aspire to conquer new heights & rise to   the challenges of life.

Head Boy Designate Master   Mihiran Choudhary , in his  speech said  he would  strive  to create an atmosphere that promotes creativity  and individuality and  would  help his fellow eaglets  to  develop as visionaries & self sufficient individuals.

Dr. Skand Bali, The Principal  presented Annual School Report for the Year 2018-19 and  lauded  the multifarious achievements  of the students in the academic and co- curricular fields.

The Chief Guest invested the Prefectorial Board for the Year 2019-20.  Master Shaun Jimmy was bestowed on Cane of Honour .He is a recipient of   the All India Best Cadet Award from the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, at the Republic Day Parade 2019.

The Chief Guest, in his address congratulated the newly invested young leaders and   exhorted them to be innovative and never back away from challenges of life.

To commemorate the occasion,  Mr A Shyam Mohan , President HPS Society and the Chief Guest planted saplings. The event ended in jubilation with the students forming a corridor, cheering on the Chief Guest and other dignitaries who graced the function.
