INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2021
The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet celebrated its Investiture Ceremony on Thursday, 12th August, 2021 at 9:00 am.
The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad.
Special Guest for the day was Mr. Santosh Rao a live example of a success story of an eaglet who dared to trod on the unbeaten path and has made a name for himself on the international scene. He is a Management Consultant by profession, a highly
acclaimed management and inspirational speaker.
The solemn ceremony was graced by Mr.Gusti J Noria, Vice President, HPS Society and Vice Chairman, Board of Governors, Mr. M.A. Faiz Khan, Secretary and Treasurer, HPS Society and Chairman Works & Technology Committee, Mr.R.Raghuram Reddy, Chairman, HR Committee and other esteemed members of HPS Society and BOG.
The Chief Guest was escorted by the pilots from the Air force, Army and Navy NCC wings. After unfurling the School Flag, the Chief Guest presented the N.C.C. Cane of Honour and Umesh Chandra Memorial Gold Medal for Best NCC Cadet to Ms. Charishma Killana for her exceptional accomplishment.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Anjani Kumar, IPS invested the Prefectorial Board, which comprised the Senior, Middle and the Primary school students.
The Head Boy designate Shiva Brahmavidh Chelluri and the Head Girl designate Ihita Varada’s speeches, left the audience marveling at the commitment, determination, wisdom and zeal expressed, which was much beyond their age. They declared with exceptional enthusiasm to lead their fellow Eaglets on the path of extraordinary achievements.
Mr. Skand Bali, the Principal, presented the School’s Annual Report and lauded the achievements that the students had garnered in the academic, curricular and co-curricular fields for the year 2020-2021.
In his keynote address, the Chief Guest congratulated the newly invested Prefectorial Board and exhorted them to make wise choices, spend quality time with family, learn to handle group dynamics and lead their alma mater to humongous heights. He reminded the student community to aspire to be exemplary citizens in discharging their duties.
A sapling of Bhel or Bilva, a medicinal plant, was planted by the Chief Guest to encourage the student community to nurture nature.
The impressive ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
