IPSC Conclave 2021- 2022
A three-day virtual IPSC Conclave 2021 – 22 was organised by The Punjab Public School, Nabha, from 24th to 26th October 2021.
Five delegates Rhea Abraham, Rayyan Ali Khan, Ankit Suhas Rao, Anya Ganesh, Zaara Alladin, all from class 11, and the teacher coordinator Ms. Nirupa Baruah HoD Commerce, from the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, had the honour of attending this Conclave.
‘Regeneration of i-Generation’ was the theme for the first day and General Bikram Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd), Former Chief of the Army Staff and Member of the School Board of Governors addressed the students.
On day two, Mr. Ketan Bhagat, motivational speaker and author, addressed the students on the theme ‘Deconstructing Leadership for i-Generation’.
The Conclave concluded with the theme- ‘Shaping i-Generation Leaders: The need for schools to evolve’ and Mr. Vivek Atray, motivational speaker, author and former IAS officer, addressed the students.
Varying perspectives on improving school life and the qualities of a leader compelled the students to question their takes on these subjects. The thought-provoking activities conducted provided insights into how different schools function.
One of the most inspiring parts of the Conclave was when a fellow delegate quoted John C. Maxwell saying – Leadership is not about titles, positions, or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another.
It was a friendly environment for everyone to voice their opinion, whether popular or not. The moderators of this well-organized Conclave did a fantastic job making sure that everyone gave their input during the intriguing, lively discussions that ranged from what learning truly is to what changes schools across the country can make to better suit their students’ needs.
