The Math Fest- A Fun-Filled Celebration of Numbers! -An interactive learning activity in Foundational Years Section
The math fest was organized in the FY PP1 section, with the primary objective to promote early math skills, encourage problem-solving, foster curiosity and interest in math, develop social and collaborative skills and to enhance cognitive development. By achieving these objectives, the Math Fest aims to lay a strong foundation for future learning while making math a fun and engaging experience for young children.
On 19th February, 2025 our FY PP1 children participated in a thrilling Math Fest, where they explored the magical world of numbers and patterns. The event was designed to make learning math an enjoyable and interactive experience for our little ones. With colourful activities, engaging games, and hands-on experiences, our FY PP1 children had the opportunity to explore the world of numbers and shapes in a creative and playful environment. Children participated in activities like number rhymes, addition, subtraction, place value, counting, number names, missing numbers, each activity was carefully curated to foster curiosity, develop critical thinking, and build a solid foundation for their future math skills. Children were seen having a wonderful time and eagerly participating in all the activities.
